I’m Josh Philip Ross. I’m a dad, a husband, and a writer, working on a book about travel in India and Nepal in the nineties. I’ve lived in South Korea since 2015, where I’m a UX writer for Samsung Electronics in Seoul. I’ve been a tech writer in UX design for more than fifteen years, first at DoubleClick, then at Google. I also served as a speechwriter for the South Korean Permanent Mission to the United Nations. I completed my master’s degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University in 2016, writing about Westerners who have become Korean shamans. Born and raised by Jewish New Yorkers in Marin County, California.
