Mark Ronson: Just

There’s a kind of latent funk that finds its way into British psychedelic rock from time to time: moments of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, the transition from “Optimistic” to “In Limbo” on Radiohead’s Kid A.

DJ Mark Ronson — son of guitarist Mick Ronson, most famous for his work with David Bowie — taps into a bit of that hidden funk with this surprising cover of Radiohead’s “Just,” from their second album, The Bends, mightily assisted by the killer horns of New York’s own Dap Kings. (Via Fluxblog.) Definitely super-funky.
